La Collina Ōmi-Hachiman. Somewhat of a mouth-full but a unique architectural and nature-inspired complex located in Ōmi-Hachiman, Shiga Prefecture

Today I traveled to Shiga Prefecture to inspect a cycling route. Shiga is located in the central part of Honshu Island, and is surrounded by Lake Biwa, one of the world's oldest lakes, with a history spanning over four million years. The prefecture is also popular for tourism with activities like boating, cycling, fishing, and lakeside onsen resorts.
